Big or small, health or something else
No task is too small – even if it’s just an hour’s discussion about your data. And not task is too big. I have more than 17 years experience working with health-related research, both within epidemiology and randomized trials. Naturally, it is then within these areas I would particularly consider myself an expert. If your research project fits within this frame, then I am certain that I can help you. But don’t be afraid to contact me even if your research area is in a different field – it can often truthfully be said that “data is data”, so the methods of analysis will be the same. Analyses of your own data
If you have a dataset that you need to analyze, then I will easily handle this for you. I will analyze data and deliver the results in the format, you desire, be it tables, figures, or something else. I will of course control model assumptions and involve you in any cases of doubt. If you need help creating a statistical analysis plan first, then I will also happily assist you in this or create it from scratch in collaboration with you. Just provide me with your data in a common data format, and I will handle the rest!
Registerbased research
If you have register data, e.g. from Danmarks Statistik or Sundhedsdatastyrelsen, then a typical task for me would be to set yp data for you. Data from the National Patient Registry and many other registers are typically not delivered in a setup that make them suitable for direct analyses. I am an expert in transforming raw register data to analyzable data. Some clients just want me to deliever a dataset with the desired variables, so that the client scan then run the analyses themselves. Others want me analyze data as well after I’ve set up the dataset. You decide!
Statistical Analysis Plans (SAP’s)
Regardless of whether you also require help managing and analyzing data or not, I have many years of experience creating statistical analysis plans. Use me to create the best plan for analyzing your data, so that you are sure that the answers you get from your data are the correct ones. With my help, you can be certain that the analysis plan is state of the art.
Power and sample size calculations
Especially in randomized trials, but also in epidemiological studies, it is important with a correctly conducted sample size or power calculation. If these are not done correctly and with the correct parameters, you run the risk of wasting a lot of time and money conducting a study which will be unable to show anything useful. With my help you can be certain that this will not happen to your research project.
Missing data
You often have to consider missing data. Perhaps you should apply inverse probability weights to ensure generalizability to the general population. Perhaps you must use multiple imputations or mixed models to account for some individuals not responding to all questions. I randomized trials it is actually mandatory in order to meet the intention-to-treat principle. Let me handle your missing data so you avoid biased results.
